All information at a glance

  • Program?

    New route since 2023

  • Best travel time?

Rain showers occur from November to May (rainy season). Everything blooms and turns green. During the dry season from June to October, it is hotter and drier during the day with typical golden yellow steppes. Northern Tanzania is always worth a trip, every travel time has its charms.

  • adventure camping

A "camp" is mostly just a chosen spot in the middle of the wilderness near Maasai villages. There isn't running water every day, but there is always enough to drink and to "wash your cat". The team has tents and mattresses for you. You only need a sleeping bag.

  • About COVID-19

Due to the corona pandemic, we were unfortunately unable to offer almost any safaris here in Tanzania in the years 2020-22. Tourism and the economy are now slowly recovering. Most international airlines fly back to Kilimanjaro Airport. There is currently no travel warning either.

  • The Maasai, also Masai, Maassai or Maasai, are an ethnic group in East Africa, which is at home in the wide plains in southern Kenya and northern Tanzania. They are not the most populous ethnic group, but one of the most well-known tribes in Africa due to their well-protected and still maintained cultures. The Maasai are known for their semi-nomadic way of life, their striking clothing and their residential area near the national parks Ngorongoro, Serengeti, Masai Mara. - Maasai Maasai Massai Maassai Tribe Tanzania Ngorongoro Safari Boma Manyatta Warriors Lake Natron Oldoinyo Lengai Arusha
